Which Tax Measure Produces the Most Revenue?
The October 17 Revenue Options Staff Report provides full examples of the revenue streams projected for various tax scenarios. At page 4 of 12 there is a grid that includes the annual projected revenue stream for each type of tax. (Here is a pdf of the grid.) Two examples of the relative revenue expected from each type of tax are provided here as a basic reference.
