Vaccines - Centralized County Link for Appointments Still in the Works

The County has set up a central UPDATE:10:30 am UPDATE RE COUNTY SITE FOR VACCINATIONS INFO:Here's the deal: The Safeway appointment system definitely has glitches. For example, when I went through the County webpage link to a local Safeway site, it didn't list Sonoma County at all. So...feel free to try out the process, but (same old rule here) be patient and don't be surprised if the system seems to not be aligned with what the County is REALLY trying hard to get done. Patience....so hard right now...
The County now has a central site that is intended to link to all the County-overseen vaccination clinics.The intent is a good one: To provide a one-stop location so we can all go there to know the latest about vaccination clinics, including qualifications, and to provide us all with direct links on that same webpage for the various appointment webpages.
However, the system is not yet working, just so you know. For example, the County webpage lists local Safeways that are accepting vaccination appointments for 70 and over, but when I clicked through to a local Safeway, it didn't list Sonoma County at all.
So...feel free to sign onto the County central vaccination appointment webpage, but (same old rule here) be patient and don't be surprised if the system seems to not be aligned with what the County is REALLY trying hard to get done. Patience....so hard right now...

Also, remember the situation is constantly changing. It's SO hard, but we all need to try to be patient and help those who are more at risk around us.
